Hi there! How are you doing? In februari, I’ve been making this treat so often and decided to share the recipe. If you’re a fan of the Italian cuisine and desserts, this one is for you.
I always make the kid-proof version since I’m not a fan of coffee or liquor. But feel free to use them instead of the chocolate milk.
- 6 eggs (seperated)
- 3 tbs caster sugar
- 750gr mascarpone (3 small tubs)
- Boudoirs (sponge fingers)
- Chocolate milk
Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until smooth and add the mascarpone. Mix it together.
Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form.
Mix the egg white mix into the mascarpone mix.
Now you have two options :)
You can either make your tiramisu in a big ceramic dish or in little dessert glasses. I made the boudoir version in a big dish and a version my parents like (with coffee and speculoos cookies instead of cocoa and boudoirs) in the little dessert glasses.
So … this is how:
Dip the boudoirs in the chocolate milk and cover the base of your dish.
Cover the base layer with one-third of the mascarpone mix.
Repeat layers 2 times, ending with the mascarpone mix.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it sit in the fridge for about 3 hours.
Dust the cream with cocoa powder and serve.
I hope you like it.
Let me know if you tried it.
