Juice recipe

Red Currant Berries

Hey pals! How are you all doing? I wanted to write several posts and I had some concepts on my phone but my iPhone broke. It’s a very sad story. I had typed out this whole article and when I tried saving it, it all disappeared. Such a bummer. Here I am at the Starbucks starting all over again. I don’t even have pictures anymore, but you don’t really need much. The picture above shows one ingredient. Interested? I am …

What you’ll need:

  • Red currant berries
  • Orange juice
  • Juicer or a sieve
  • 1/2 cup
  • 1 tbsp

How to:

So, I was too lazy to take my juicer, use it and clean it afterwards. So I used a sieve to juice my red currant berries. But feel free to use whichever method you like. The result is the same. It only takes longer if you do it by hand.

I got a running, but still a little tick consistency. Like a coulis.

Then I measured everything. The ratio I used was 2 tbsp red currant coulis for each 1/2 cup of orange juice. I should warn you that the berries are a little sour. So if you have a sweet tooth, you could use the ratio 1 cup orange juice and 1 tbsp coulis.

I’m sorry for the lack of posts. :(
Let me know if you tried this out/liked it.
