Last week, I made some chocolate cakes. And oh my god, they were so delicious. It’s a shame but they didn’t even make the morning. I even made them the day after as a present for someone. I thought I could share the recipe with you.
The little cakes look like something between a cheesecake and brownies.
You will need
- 4 eggs
- 200gr dark chocolate
- 250gr mascarpone
- 75gr sugar
- 40gr flour
First, melt the chocolate (preferably au bain marie) and mix it with the mascarpone.
Add the sugar, flour and eggs and give it a good stir untill it’s very smooth.
Pour this mix in a mould and put it in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes on 180ºC or about 356ºF.
I used a round mould instead of a square one because that was all I could find at that moment. But it will work out either way. The cool part is that I could eat the ‘leftovers’. Oh, don’t forget to butter the mould.
For the top layer of chocolate, you will need
- 50 gr butter
- 100 gr chocolate
Melt the two 10 minutes before you take the cake out of the oven. Let the chocolate sit in that bowl.
When you take the cake out of the oven, you need to let it in the mould and pour the chocolate over it. Let it cool on the counter and when it’s cold, you can start cutting the cake in little squares.
And tadaaa … your squares are ready. Don’t forget to tweet me or tag me in instagram when you try this :)
